The Paint-A-Pal Story
Paint-A-Pal began with two moms, Amanda, a mom of three, and Christine, a mom of two, who shared a love for creativity, family, and making kids smile. As busy moms, they understood just how special those little moments can be—the excitement of creating something with your own hands, the laughter around a table, and the pride on a child’s face when they finish their masterpiece.
Less than a year ago, Amanda and Christine turned that shared passion into Paint-A-Pal, a direct-to-consumer ceramic crafts and party banner business designed to bring creativity, color, and fun straight to families.
From paint-your-own ceramic crafts that spark a child’s imagination to custom party banners that make birthdays and celebrations feel extra special, Paint-A-Pal is about more than just crafts. Getting started
Paint-a-Pal is a ceramic party-favor studio for kids. We sell paint-your-own bisque ceramics, brush kits, custom party bundles, monthly subscription boxes, and hand-painted party banners.
Our ceramics and paints are designed for ages 3 and up with a little grown-up supervision. Most painters fall between 4 and 10, but we have seen plenty of artistic adults join the fun.
Every kit includes a ceramic pal of your choice, soft nylon brushes, and washable paint. The Classic Brush Kit includes 3 paints, the Sparkle Kit includes neon and glitter paints plus a sponge stamper, and the Party Table Pack covers up to 10 guests.
Paint & colors
Our standard color range is blue, red, green, purple, orange, black and yellow. Every brush kit and subscription box already includes the primary colors (blue, red and yellow). Green, purple, orange and black are available as extra colors.
Yes. We use non-toxic, washable acrylic paint that rinses out of clothes and off little hands with warm water and soap. They are still art supplies, so supervision is recommended.
Absolutely. In the Party Builder and subscription boxes you can pick the exact colors you want. If you choose a non-primary color outside the included amount, it is just $1.80 per extra color.
Orders & shipping
Use the "Create a party" section on this page. Choose a theme, pick the ceramics, add brushes and paint colors, and we will bundle it into one simple price. Bulk pricing kicks in at 20 pieces.
Pick a tier (Little Dabbler, Happy Painter or Big Imagination), choose your colors, and we will ship a fresh themed box every month. You can pause, skip or cancel any time.
Every hand-painted banner has a standard two-week processing time so we can coordinate details and paint it just right. Rush painting is available if you need it sooner.
Custom banners & returns
Choose a size (3 ft to 6 ft), a theme, the wording, and any extras like metal rivets or glitter accents. You will see a live preview of your theme as you design it, and resident artist Christine hand-paints every banner on brown builder's paper.
We pack everything carefully, but accidents happen. Send a photo of the damaged item within 7 days of delivery and we will replace it or refund you, no stress.
